International position

Rights, recognition, and responsible engagement.

Padoukiquoy Nation invokes the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the American Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as rights frameworks and minimum standards for engagement.

Ante Omnia Tempora

Before all times

United Nations

UNDRIP engagement

We seek practical implementation assistance and participation guidance for a dispersed Indigenous people engaged in historical reconstruction, cultural restoration, institution building, archival recovery, and homeland documentation.

Inter-American system

ADRIP engagement

We seek participation in implementation dialogue concerning self-identification, collective rights, cultural continuity, family and descent, historical land relationship, remedies, and international cooperation.

Public status statement

The Nation’s reconstitution, internal citizenship, and heirship standards do not by themselves establish federal recognition, state recognition, treaty status, enrollment in another recognized tribe, eligibility for governmental Indian benefits, or adjudicated title. ADRIP is invoked as a regional human-rights and policy framework, not characterized as a binding United States treaty obligation.

What we preserve

Self-identification, collective rights, historical continuity, family relationship, land connection, and remedies.

What we request

Participation guidance, technical engagement, dialogue facilitation, implementation assistance, and international cooperation.

What we do not ask

We do not ask international mechanisms to determine federal recognition or adjudicate title through this public position.
